1.What is the purpose of daytime running light

The DRL's intended purpose is to help other road users see your vehicle better. Because DRLs are not designed to illuminate the road, they are often made with LED lights instead of halogen headlight bulbs. LED DRLs are long-lasting, energy-efficient, and give off a bright white light.
2.Which lights are daytime running
Daytime running lights (or DRLs) are a relatively new feature on most cars. 
DRLs are lights located on the front of a vehicle that remain on whenever the engine is running. Unlike headlights, daytime running lights are fairly dim and don't illuminate the road ahead.
3. Difference between DRL and Fog lights
The difference is that fog lights must only be used during bad weather conditions where visibility is poor and daytime running lights allow the vehicles visibility for others during daylight.
4. Does DRL time running affect battery life
LED bulbs have minimal power so it doesn't affect battery
